The group is made up of  St Mary Magdalene's congregation members and community members, there are 35 regular members who meet on Wednesdays at 15h00. The overall total members are 60, however the other members are not coming every Wednesday as they have other commitments. The objective of the group is to support each other, share their personal experiences and also to create an HIV friendly enviroment within the church.

Every Wednesday the group is provided with soup and with the assistance of Social Development as most of the members are not employed. The group also receives food parcels from the donations made by other parishes and individuals through Fikelela on a monthly basis.

The group also plan and conduct awareness events in and out of the church, sometimes the group will go out on a picnic or coffee on invitations through their leaders networking.
