The ceremony took place at the City Hall in Cape Town on Saturday 17th May 2008. The annual ceremony attracts applicants from around the country, 130 hopefuls applied this year. Rhoda Kadalie of Impumelelo belives "by unearthing these projects that illustrate the potential for public-private partnerships it is proven that there are innovative solutions to pressing public problems in the country.
