We have in the picture Bev Hendricks of Fikelela with Mr Carl Buske of St Philips Kenwyn, Carl a faithful friend to Mr Eric Jacobs of Canada who for the past six years has arranged for us to receive a cheque for CAD 1000-00.

The Fikelela children’s centre cares for abandoned and orphaned children

What an inspiring story, a group of ladies who pack about 20 to 30 food parcels per month. Ingredients are received from the Parish and they also have regular subscribers about 30 people who contribute towards the food parcel project.

On the 16 -18th of April 2010 we had another camp to train young people to become Agents of Change, and it took place at YMCA Houtbay. 56 Young people from the Diocese of Cape Town and False Bay were trained to be Agents of Change.
